Personality (X. Wheel of Fortune):

This wheel develops in a spiral and symbolizes the law of cyclic evolution, the key to all activity. It either pulls (carries along) or is held back by beings, especially attentive to appearances.

Representing both positives/negatives and good/bad luck. While you may find yourself on the "top" of the wheel, it is always possible in the next instant to find yourself underneath that heavy burden but alas everything ebbs and flows as the wheel is always turning.

But the intelligence of the alert will become the driving force of the wheel of destiny, of which the hub is a fixed spot, in which he finds the source of productiveness (fecundity). “YOD” (the tenth letter of the Hebrew alphabet) means “that which contains the force in power”.

Essence (I. The Magician):

The general sense of this arcane is similar to that of the “material prima” or primary matter for the alchemist; rough material, which nevertheless carries in it the potential of Gold - the purest.

The four elements are symbolized by the objects belonging to the Magician (wand, sword, money, and cup). This card is also the ascertainment of an existing reality, which is why the symbols of the elements are two-fold in their direct representation: at the top of the card fire and air, and at the bottom water and earth on which the magician is still deeply-rooted.

The magician card represents the ultimate expression of human will. Having all the objects and abilities of the four elements at his power. All that needs to be done now is to engage the Will.

Supplemental (XIX. The Sun):

It is the source and the carrier of light in its absolute. It represents the Spirit, the intelligence of the world, which is flooded by its shining rays. The 19th letter: “QOPH” in itself signifies the creative power: the “I” creator.

The gnostic thought is dominated by the search for the light, which represents the supreme knowledge to which one cannot accede, except after a long time and a difficult preparation.

The Verb associates itself with the light as expressed by the Chakra from the top of the skull which opens the conscientiousness to direct intuition. The Sun is the mark of the blossoming in that perfect harmony, the image of pure love.

Complimentary (XII. The Hanged Man):

We must see there the passing into another world, based on perceptions just as real as those, that our senses are used to. There are risks and one must be prepared, as a return is no longer possible.

The hanged man “plunges” into this new universe, with his hands tied, without possible recourse. He is held by a single ankle to a material world whose space is represented by the signs of the zodiac.

From the pockets of the hanged man, the last fragments/bits of attachments of material desires fall out (the money of the magician). We are in the middle of the second septenary and we are coming into the second half of the course of the 22 cards; The letter “LAMED”: the 12th Hebrew letter means “change by the movement in space”.
